Both Avondale and Old / Irving Park are proving to be highly sought after neighborhoods here in Chicago. While demand does seem to have slowed, low inventory rates continue to push prices towards record-highs. That said, the 2022 Summer real estate market does appear to be entering a cool-off period, so buyers looking to make the jump into homeownership may find themselves in a better position in the coming months.
